My other financial obsession, other than improving and renting out my condo, is transferring my credit card debt to a lower interest rate credit card or loan. I get a few of those random offers every month - but so far only one has been worth pursuing and it didn't work out.
I'm starting to look into a personal loan, but so far I've only found one unsecured loan and that didn't work out either.
I'm trying (again) to get my two remaining cards to lower their interest rates, but I'm not expecting much. It's just really frustrating to know that this one thing would make such a big difference, but to not be in control of it.
